"The best general theory of magic we have yet in any literature" - Dr. Lawrence Hass
This page is devoted to documenting the on-going discourse on Robert Neale's general theory of magic, a discussion that continues to expand. Interest in Neale's Trilogy along with both his earlier and subsequent commentaries on magic have been percolating in small groups, short seminars, and in less formal dialogues throughout the magic communities, primarily in the United States, and particularly among the small community of friends in the McBride Magic & Mystery consortium of serious followers.
Mike Smith and Geoff Grimes, fellow magicians and of creators of an "Index" to Bob Neale's works, lead an international forum on key concepts of Dr. Neale's general theory of magic. Hosted by David Reed-Brown, the live steam sessions address the thirteen themes Smith and Grimes have isolated in their index.
